The Sisters of the Dark attacking
The Sisters of the Dark were the exact opposite of the Sisters of the Light, who served The Creator. The sisters of the Dark served The Keeper. The Sisters of the Dark lived among the sisters of the light in disguise, prentending to be sisters while they secretly served the Keeper, most of them served the Keeper to increase her own personal power. Nicci was a prominet Sister of the Dark until The Seeker (Richard Rahl), convinced her that she didn't have to serve someone and her power was her own, and she left the service of the Keeper.
