The Midlands was the land between D'Hara and Westland,surounded by the two Boundaries. It's capital was Aydindril and it was ruled by the Mother Confessor who had the first seat of the central council of the Midlands, until all of the Confessors except the last Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell & her sister were hunted down and killed by small groups of Darken Rahls army called Quads.
