George Cypher was a normal farmer living on a countryside in Westland. He appeared in the first season of Legend of the Seeker.
Biography[]
Early life[]
George had a peaceful life and took care of his family with all his heart. He gave birth to Michael Cypher with his wife Mary Cypher and they raised him with love and comfort. After the massacre of Brennidon and Zeddicus crossed the boundary at night, he watched and listened for weeks. Zeddicus thought there was no one kinder then George and Mary Cypher in the world, so he told his story about Richard for them and took him to their home and hearts.
Death[]
George died in his house defending himself against the Dharan soldier Ranssyn Fane. When Richard arrived to the burned home, he saw George laying on the floor in the house, then he brought him outside. George told him the truth about Richard being the seeker and slowly died. His last words to Richard was "No matter what else happens, you will always be my son". He also hold Richards pendant in his hand handing it over to Richard moments before he dies.

- Zeddicus mentions to Richard that there was no wiser choice to pick George and Mary Cypher for the job to take care of him.
- He was one of the few persons in Westland that knew Richard wasn't a member of his family.
