- Nass: Mistress Denna.
- Denna: General Nass.
She turns fully around so we can take all of her outfit in, it’s pretty impressive.
- Denna: I wish I could say this was a pleasure.
- Nass: The Seeker has been tracking me, trying to get his hands on the Box of Orden. He must be stopped.
She turns away from Nass.
- Denna: You command an entire legion, general. Surely you can kill one man.
- Nass: I have received new orders. You are to capture the Seeker. And train him.
- Denna: I thought Lord Rahl wanted the Seeker dead.
- Nass: Lord Rahl’s plans of changed.
(Scene of Richard, Kahlan and Zedd walking through the forest. A bird screeches and brings up Richard short.)
- Richard: Wait. We’re being followed.
- Kahlan: Are you sure?
(Zedd grunts out in pain, an arrow sticking out of his back. More arrows fly through the scene.)
- Richard: Zedd!
(Richard tries to go to him, but Kahlan is pulling him backward away from the arrows. She pushes him behind a tree out of range.)
- Kahlan: You can’t help him.
(Richard tries to push against her but she holds firm. She pulls dagger she kept out of her boot.)
- Kahlan: Or yourself.
