Annabelle is a minor character in the second season of Legend of the Seeker. She was a confessor before her magic was absorbed by a Quilion after misusing her magical abilities.
Story[]
Birth & Early life[]
Annabelle was a Confessor, the daughter of the D'haran commander Lord Callum and his Confessor consort, Josephine. The latter had confessed the former in battle, dying at childbirth. Lord Callum hid Annabelle away in Raawlenwood Castle, Ossridge her whole childhood, never telling her of her "curse".
Soon, the order of Confessors was decimated, leaving Annabelle and Kahlan Amnell the only living Confessors.
Life as Confessor[]
A servant, Tharla, poisoned Callum and whisked Annabelle away to sell her to the sorcerer, Lorcus for her power. Annabelle, however, was saved by Richard and Kahlan, then subsequently met Flynn whom she accidentally confessed. She quickly fell in love with him, and ran away with him. In a turn of events, Annabelle confesses Richard. Knowing what had to be done, Kahlan set out to murder Annabelle to free the Seeker from her magic, but Richard suggested using Lorcus' quillion to drain her powers. This eventually worked, freeing Richard and Flynn, and leaving Kahlan as the only living Confessor (until her sister, Dennee was brought back to life by Denna).
Annabelle, eager to see the world, set out to WIndmore with Flynn on horseback.
